"This is the photographic, videographic and textual record taken by someone who, driving back home from a factory after dark, encountered a being of strange nature.

Criatura — so named by the narrator to be able to talk about it — is born in the middle of the street and has an unusually anthropomorphic appearance. Immersed in an urban periphery landscape, Criatura gradually discovers a mesmerizing element: light. The attraction will become so strong that its body will develop a fatal mutation."

The idea was to investigate, by means of an audiovisual fiction, what we understand by wild and what we understand by civilized, which also reminds us of the nature-culture dichotomy. That is why we located the action in a periphery: a place that is the boundary between urban space and rural space. This point in between becomes several things at the same time and is hardly classifiable, just like the character of Criatura.
